Long Live GoGo
is a member-led organization whose mission is to build local power and to intervene in displacement inflicted on our communities by the government and its constituents. We trust that in order to win and bring as many people with us along the way, we must move beyond the narrow nationalism that is all too prevalent in minority communities and develop the most creative and effective methods of having the voices of Native Washingtonians heard. Long Live GoGo is committed to the advancement of racial inequities across the world.

Where does my donation go?
A donation helps to structurally build the Long Live GoGo movement championing DC's musical heritage. Sustaining DC culture to enable DC natives to exist in the city.
Throughout the #DontMuteDC outcry against the rapid rate of gentrification in DC, Moechella was a peaceful demonstration organized by Long Live GoGo. Moechella itself quickly became a cultural staple and is known to be the intersection of culture and politics in DC. GoGo music is the messaging tool for the outcry of the underserved cultural community. As a result of the lawsuit brought upon Long Live GoGo by Coachella, we have decided to produce a documentary entitled "Save the Movement." To explain its significance to DC culture and the impact it has had politically, economically and socially.
Long Live GoGo is steadily expanding. As a collective of liberators, we believe in an inclusive and spacious movement. We are working to build inclusive music and multimedia based programming through a movement that unites washingtonians and cultivates the love for DC's heartbeat, GoGo Music. #LongLiveGoGo
